Took five minutes to get noticed by the waitress, had to ask for clean glasses as my wife noticed lip marks on hers. The second set of glasses had a lot of water stains but no lip marks at least. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, which was ok but it was a solid lump in the bowl when it arrived. Stirring it with a fork for awhile helped, I think it may have just been under the lamp too long. My wife said her grilled chicken was juicy, but her green beans were so salty she could not eat them. My son said his stuffed chicken was ok, but probably wouldn't order it again. So, all in all, service was not good, cleanliness of the dishes was an issue, and the food was ok. Probably will not go back.

Had the Banana's Foster and OMG!!!! They didn't cook the bourbon off...it was like drinking shot. But the rest of the food was ok.

Very slow service cold though overcooked food with the wrong sides on all four meals. An apologetic manager comped the meal but life is too short for a dinner like this.

Pretty fair food. Kind of slow service. The have Moscow mules though so that is a great factor!!!

I don't like to see the underdog get picked on, so I'll put in my first Yelp review ever. This place was excellent! Based on the reviews, I think the menu has recently changed and maybe even the mgmt. From the start, the servers were warm and friendly, the french onion soup was very tasty, the FIreball Burger was delicious. It comes with fried onion straws and the best *and only* "cinnamon bourbon" sauce i've ever had. I never knew that's the perfect taste complement for a burger! My dad had the stuffed chicken breast, which comes ala cordon bleu, with the wing still attached to optimize the juicy chicken flavor. The prices are very reasonable, I don't know what people are looking for cheaper but this was a wonderful meal for 2 people including soups and drinks for under $40. Was so full I couldn't even fit in my favorite dessert, Bananas Foster. Next time, Moonshine! It's right next to Chili's in Great Falls but you can go to Chili's anywhere, come here instead.

The food was good, the service was ok, the atmosphere was nice. I definitely would give this place another shot.

It started with the waitress (Shelby) arguing with the hostess. She didn't want more people in her area and didn't care about arguing the point right in front of us. She lost and ended up ushering us to our booth without saying a word. She immediately wanted to take our food order before we even opened our menus. She was very curt. Forty minutes went by and when we hadn't received our food or been visited by our waitress, we asked to see the manager. As we sat waiting, we overheard another table upset because their chicken arrived raw. We had to ask two more employees to get the manager before he finally came over. He said he was busy, but we had seen him all along. He offered no resolution. We went to the restaurant next door and told them about our experience. They said they "hadn't had any complaints about Moonshine THAT night". The manager of Moonshine hunted us down and came to our table to offer excuses for bad service and tell us "he wouldn't hold it against us" that we left. Do they not know why they are there? Without customers, they wouldn't have a job. It doesn't seem to sink in though when you look at reviews on social media that they apparently don't take seriously. That's why I didn't spend too much time putting this review together.

I love the idea of the whiskey flights. No complaints on the service. My husband had the Fireball burger, which he greatly enjoyed. I had the stuffed chicken. Good flavors, and I liked that it was grilled, but it had a -bit- too much char on it for my liking- it's not a big piece, so you're tasting a lot of char with every bite.

The restaurant was near the hotel that we were staying in. The restaurant is quite big. I can't remember the last time I was in a restaurant this huge. The food was decent (but not exceptional) and so was the portions. The server was also helpful and made sure we were taken care of.

The food was pretty good and the service was decent. The restaurant is about 3 months old, so they're still getting the kinks worked out. I had the Fettucini with chicken. For $13, it needed more chicken, but was good. The garlic butter green beans are AWESOME!! Also, the peach tea is good, too.

First off let me say there is a bar area, now! The service was good, the servers were not very polished but fine.. And the food was yummy! We would eat there again.

Woah there...hold up on the salt! Mahi mahi good..though a little over cooked and definitely way too salty...same was true for shrimp skewers, merlot mushrooms and way way too much salt on green beans. Sadly another restaurant in GF that is low quality and over priced. I don't mind paying 20 or more for a entree, but not when it is just another franchise with low quality food.

Went here for the first time at lunch. This place has a lot going on, both good and bad. To set the stage for those that don't know, this was a franchise Italian restaurant that was rebranded by the owners to its own brand of Steakhouse. As the name suggests, whiskey is prominent throughout the menu and ties nicely to the decor with prohibition era and moonshiner photos. There is an array of salads, steaks, burgers, chicken, and fish to choose from. Some of the other items include appetizers and pastas and more than a few items are rip-offs of the previous franchise menu. A very expansive drink menu and over 20 Whiskeys to choose from, including Scotch, Irish, and Canadian Whiskys, and several wines as well. The whiskey flights are a good value for the price ($9-13) including a create-your-own option. My wife and I shared a wedge salad (very good but server gave us a fork with a bent tine) and both ordered burgers, which were cooked perfectly as ordered (medium). They were delicious and juicy. The burgers are around $10 and steaks are $15-$25 and they offer prime rib Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. What doesn't work are the hanging string lights, the dark green open beam ceiling, the music, and the servers' attire. I have not been for dinner but at lunch they were playing modern country music and the servers were dressed like costumed cowgirls with straw hats. Neither of which I associate with the '20s or moonshine. The windows are small so even during the day its pretty dark inside. The open ceiling lends itself to a cavernous resemblance and it could get very loud when the restaurant is full. Overall the service was great and food was delicious, but menu prices for the will definitely limit how often we eat here.

Had dinner there tonight. Not too impressed. I ordered the eggplant parm which was very thin and overcooked.

Not worth the $$$. I ordered a NY strip, but it was actually cut incorrectly, and I believe it came from a roast. This place feels like the owners are struggling to make a profit. You might as well eat at any other shit chain restaurant. Service at the bar was good.

Was right next to HGI hotel. Friendly server and hostess. The hostess rushed to open the door for me with a smile. Lettuce wraps for appetizer very tasty. Little skimpy on the chicken but good flavor. For main course had glazed salmon that was Very flavorful. Good prompt service Nice place would go again. Lots of menu choices

I have been wanting to eat at this restaurant for awhile now and I would not return or recommend it to anyone. Had the glazed salmon and it was very overcooked and the green beans were terribly over seasoned. I was surprised to see the wait staff in jeans and white paper on the table.

It took 20 minutes to get our beers. It took 1 hour to get our food. The salmon I ordered was burned and so dry I had to follow it up with water to get it down. The only reason it got 2 stars is because Tuesday nights are half price wine nights. However, they were out of the bottle that we selected first.

Great decor inside and has a lot of whiskey options. I thought service was good and the food even better. I got the glazed salmon and it was awesome. It was a bourbon glaze along with veggies and sweet potato. Two small concerns were: the sweet potato was the smallest ever and when I ordered another one they had run out. The potato was really good however. The salmon filet and amount of veggies more than made up for it.

My family and I have eaten here now twice and problem after problem from the service to food.. Our last experience we waited over an hour for our food when there was only two parties, followed by no attention from our server and the food was bland. My father got a medium rare steak that was cooked well done (second time that has happened) and our coconut shrimp was soggy and tasted horrible like it was bad. When complaining to the manager she wanted to get us something else and of-course we declined as we had been there two hours and stated we just wanted that taken off the bill, as she walked away the manager had the nerve to mumble under her breath Nasty things about us being picky I couldn't believe it. We tried giving them another shot and it turned out to be a bad experience we were very dissatisfied.

Very good place to eat. Good was wonderful, service great. Price was amazing . I was in Great Falls for Business. I was getting pretty frustrated at not finding a good place to eat. then decided to drive around to see what we could find. Fortunately we decided to try Moonshine Grill and WOW what a great choice. The best food and the lowest price with very, very good service and hospitality. This is the only place I will eat when I come to Great Falls going forward. Thank you team Moonshine Grill.

After a long day driving from Bismark, SD we spotted this restaurant next door to our hotel. What a great find! We got lucky with half price wine by the bottle tonight. Add excellent service from Kayla, great coconut shrimp for my wife and lobster/shrimp Mac and cheese plus Caesar salad for me and tonight was a hit!

I was working in Great Falls with a group of five other women and after a long day at work we all needed a drink or two and a good dinner. Moonshine Grill was recommended and it was also very close to our hotel. The space is one large room that feels a little cold. They tried to break up the space some but overall it's one large open space with tables and chairs. They have a full bar menu but lack an actual bar to sit at, this will likely keep me from returning when traveling solo. I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs I ordered for dinner. The dish arrived hot and with a few un-buttered toast points. I was happy with my choice and finished my plate. Service was average, nothing to note good or bad. Moonshine is convenient to the hotel and offers satisfying food, a decent choice when in Great Falls, MT.
